Methinks it's neither Mtn Girl nor Donna. Based on my many--er, make that 5--photos of MG, and 74-79 experience with DG.

I won't bore you with lengthy explanations of my multivariate statistical analysis that was used to draw this conclusion, but suffice it to say it carries all of the weight and and is based on all of the strong inference methods that I use in all of my definitive posts hereabouts.

But, that's all I got--really just a knee jerk assessment.

Well I wouldn't mind being bored to death with your multivariate statistical analysis, because I'm pretty certain it's Mountain Girl. But now I'm really curious and would love to know if I'm wrong. Unless I'm crazy, I remember reading at some point that she accompanied the band on the European tour, and I also have read somewhere that she's danced on stage with them before. She's mentioned in the credits for the E72 album as well. And I do believe it looks like her.

Not to single you out deniro, but...

People, for real? seriously?

I am shocked to see all of you knowledgeable folks making such obviously wrong claims. Not to be a prick or come off like cliff. But seriously?

Its clearly neither mtn girl or donna. A quick search of mtn girl in 72 shows that she has long thin hair just like donna. Almost instantely ruling her out. But even not seeing pictures of either at the time its still blatent that its neither.

I don't mind being singled out lol, even though I know you're not just talking to me. I was merely speculating though. I only said, "I'm pretty sure it's Mountain Girl." And based on some stuff I believe I read at some point, I was pretty convinced. Right now I'm really not sure though. It could be Rosie. I don't know! I just want someone to clear it up.

Just curious, where did you find pictures of her from '72?

Rosie McGee, formerly ... uh, Florence Nathan? Something like that? ... apparently "Phil's Old Lady" for a long time (in the 60s) and when they broke up she got tired of still being known as Florence, Phil's Old Lady (or Phil's Old Old Lady?) so she called herself Rosie McGee. Was still part of the scene and did the daily newsletter in Europe. (Bozo and Bolo News?) She's a photographer and took lots of pics of the band throughout the years.

Let's see ... trivia time ... who else could it be? Frankie, the Sugar Magnolia girl? No, she waits backstage.

How many in the "family" traveled to Europe with the band? 50? 60? I guess there are a few more candidates out there.

Cliff i was nothing but respectful to you as you were continually anything but to me (you're nice to others, typically).

If you're upset with me using use as a reference to being a prick i suggest you not be the prick that you were.

:)
